Gatton Park Opening

The team went to the grand opening of the award winning Gatton Park on the Town Branch Commons on August 23, 2025. It was a lively event, with so many residents. We even heard a band play!  We also had the opportunity to meet with over 200+ residents from across Lexington to learn what they want from their Downtown. They shared with us their desire for more parks, inspired by Gatton Park. They said they would love to see more greenspaces downtown. Also, participants noted how much they appreciate the ambassadors of downtown! They also shared with us that they would love to have more signage for parking, and better sharing of event information. They want to know what's happening in Lexington and what there is to do Downtown.
